Antieke houten stool / kruk afkomstig uit Ethiopië

Antique Jimma stool from Ethiopia. Carved in one piece of indigenous hardwood. They are created by the Jimma people in the forest area of Western Ethiopia. This area is also know for being the birthplace of coffee.

Dates from the early 20th Century. 
Weathered patina on wood.

This item will show some imperfections consistent with use and age which add to it’s beauty and are not considered as flaws.
